Bailey

Andrew John Bailey is the 30th, and current, Chief Cashier, having been appointed in 2004.

He was born in 1959 and joined the Bank of England in 1985, after having been a Research Officer at the London School of Economics.

He has held various positions within the Bank and apart from being the Chief Cashier, is an Executive Director of the Banking Department.
